Sandra Azevedo

Coordinator of Continuous Improvement, Butte County Office of Education

Sandra Azevedo works as a Coordinator of Continuous Improvement for Butte County Office of Education.  Sandra has been an educator for 25 years and has grown up in Northern California. She has worked as a school psychologist, coordinator for special education, and now provides trainings and support to schools and districts  for Social and Emotional Learning, Restorative Practices, Trauma Responsive Systems of Support, Multi-Tiered System of Support, Butte Professional Learning Network and Continuous Improvement efforts centered around equity. Sandra is connected with several state and regional networks and is on the Steering Committee for Butte Thrives (ACEs Collaborative) as well as the Northern ACEs Collaborative.

Scott Dinits

Human Resources Director for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the North Valley

Scott Dinits works as the Human Resources Director for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the North Valley and is also a Co-Director of the Ability First Sports Camp.  For 17 years Scott has worked with community organizations, school districts, foundations and service groups, providing a variety of services.  Scott is dedicated to inclusive programs for people with disabilities and young people that need us the most.  Scott provides training and support to community based organizations, parent workshops, and expanded learning programs for youth development practices, Trauma Informed and Responsive Systems, and Community Resiliency Practices.  Scott supports county initiatives as a Steering Committee member of Butte Thrives and is a past board member and trainer for California School Age Consortium.  BBQing is a passion of his and he cooks and volunteers for the community whenever he has a chance.

Matthew Reddam

School & Community Wellness Advisor, Butte County Office of Education

Matt Reddam is the current School & Community Wellness Advisor for Butte County Office of Education and form Policy & Practice Coordinator for Trauma Transformed. A regional expert on child traumatic stress and trauma informed systems, Matt is a clinician, advocate, trainer, and consultant whose passion as a survivor drives the need to bring our systems into a state of equity and compassion.
